Crocheting Longer Amounts Of Time – 5 Hacks

Are you a very obsessed crocheter and enjoy doing your craft for 3-5 hours at a time? Well then, this is the post for you! I have gathered 5 of the most helpful hacks for crocheting marathons. I hope you will enjoy!

#1.) Making looser stitches

When you make looser stitches, you will have less wrist/finger pain. This will also make your projects go a lot faster too!

#2.) Take 10 minute breaks every 30 minutes

If you take breaks in between crocheting you will be able to do it for longer amounts of time and your crocheting pace will stay steady!

#3.) Use thicker yarn

I have found that using thicker yarn is much more comfortable to crochet with for longer periods of time.

#4.) Do hand stretches

Before and after doing a marathon of crocheting, always do hand stretches. This will make your hands not as stiff after crocheting.

#5.) Use an ergonomic crochet hook

I have heard many good things about ergonomic crochet hooks. They put your hands in a more comfortable and relaxed position. (You can find some very cute ones on Etsy too!)

I hope you enjoyed today’s post, and if you did please follow perfectly crocheted!
